My trip to Germany

Hello there!

So in the beginning of August, and the end of my summer-holiday, I went to Germany with my parents. It was a really cool trip, and we went to two completely different places/cities in Germany. I would say that the first place was more for my parents, and se second one was more for me, which I think was really good, because we got to experience two totally different places even though we were in the same country.

So at about twelve o'clock when we had packed all of our stuff, and made sure that we hadn't forgot anything, we got in the car and began to drive to Germany. We had decided to take the car, and then the ferry to Germany, so that we could just drive from the first place, which were an area called Hartzen to the second place, which were Berlin, the capital of Germany.

After a kind of long drive and a little ferry ride, we were finally in Germany, and on our way to Hartzen. Hartzen is an area with a lot of woods and hills everywhere, and there was also a lot of little water fountains and steams. Basically a lot of nature, and it was very beautiful.

Our hotel was of course on a little hill, and was actually a hotel I think that a lot of people would visit during the winter period, because of all the hills and ski-facilities (there were a lot of little ski-lifts around the area, and even one just by our hotel).

The hotel was pretty nice and there was an indoor- and outdoor pool, a fitness room, a tennis court and a really nice buffet in the restaurant. The only bad thing about the hotel was that it was kind of old, so it was a bit outdated, and the WIFI weren't free, which we thought it would be (and yes, I know you're might not supposed to go on the internet all the time on your holiday, but there weren't so much to do at the hotel at all times). So instead of going on the internet, I ended up playing a lot of Yatzi and watched some films I had taken with me in the suitcase.

Of course we also had to walk around in the beautiful nature, because we were only at the hotel in the morning and afternoon/evenings. We walked up and down the hills (which actually was pretty hard sometimes) nearby the hotel, and it was very beautiful looking at all of the nature. We also drove down to a little town nearby with small old houses and little boutiques and restaurants.

After five days in Hartzen, it was time to leave for Berlin, which I was pretty excited about. So yet again we were sat in the car after checking out of the hotel, and drove all the way from Hartzen to Berlin.
In Berlin we had booked a small apartment, instead of just a hotel room, and it was really nice, accept it was on the third floor with no elevator, so we had to climb up the stairs with all of our heavy luggage. But we managed to get it all up, so that was fine.

In Berlin there was a lot more to look at than in Hartzen (well, not nature of course). We went to a lot of attractions for example the Reichstag, Under den Linden, Potzdammer Plats, Kurfürstendamm and so on. Basically there was a LOT to look at and a LOT of places to shop as well (which is one of my favourite things to do, haha). We also went to the Madame Tusssauds museum, which I didn't even know was there, but I saw on the Brandenburger street, so that was also really cool.
We also went on a sightseeing boat through the canal in Berlin and on another day, we went on a sightseeing bus. So I guess you could say that we did really see a lot.

After over a week with a lot of beautiful nature, expressions, sightseeing and shopping, it was time to take the long drive home. But all in all, it was a really nice trip and I really enjoyed everything from the nature in Haitzen to the shopping and sightseeing in Berlin.

Here is some pictures from the trip:

Last day of school

Hi!

So we are now in the first month of summer, and I'm already done with school (I still have my exams, but I don't have to go to school every week anymore). So we had a termination on our school which was a day full of activities and fun and a day I will definitely remember.

So it started on the 28th of may, were I woke up at 6:15 AM (it was tough) and then I put on my cheerleader costume (on the last day of school where I live, you dress up in a costume, do a show for the younger kids and throw caramels at them/to them). And then my class and I met at one of my classmates house and ate breakfast all together.

After we had all eaten up, we went outside to take a picture (and it was freezing cold, and I only had a skirt and a tank top on (my costume)).

After that we walked with our costumes on and caramels in our bags all the way up to the school, where we performed our show, which actually went really well.

After the show we went out on the big football field to have a water fight with everyone who wanted to, even though it was still freezing cold.

After that all of us in the ninth grade went up to a field with a big mill on it and had a "shaving gel-fight" were we just splashed shaving gel all over each other, and it smelled really bad, but was really fun.

After we had all been covered in shaving gel, me and some of my girlfriends went home to one of my girlfriends house to get ready for the dinner and party we were going to afterwards.

When we had all washed ourselves, eaten, done our hair, makeup and outfit, we were ready to go to the dinner at about five o'clock.

After the delicious dinner we went to a party near the school, which was so fun and after a long night I went home about 1:30 AM.

Copenhagen Fashion Week - Over

Hello!
So I know that Copenhagen Fashion Week 2014 is now officially over, and I didn't actually blog as much as I thought I would. I was planning on actually going to the city and maybe take some "streetstyle" pictures on the streets of Copenhagen.
But it was really cold and windy in Copenhagen, and I didn't really think I actually had time to go there, so, i didn't unfortunately.
But I'm hoping to go there next year.

Chinese buying danish designs

This year the danish fashion industry is really hunting for the Chinese to come and buy our designs. The fashion week even started earlier this year because of the Chinese new year. We've already sent 33 Chinese fashion bloggers to the country during the annual fashion week (Copenhagen fashion week, 2014 (28. jan. - 2. feb)), to blog especially about the danish designs, so we can get more Chinese fashion-lovers to buy from us. I personally think it's really cool, that Denmark is making a bit advertising about themselves and the danish fashion industry. It would be really good, because, then maybe we could be a bit more worldwide (than we might already am), because we're already such a little country and we need some more attention dragged to our country and our fashion industry. I, myself, am dreaming to become a fashion designer some day, therefore I think that it is important that Denmark's fashion industry gets a bit more attention.

I really love the danish style, because it's very minimalistic and simple, but will that drag the Chinese to our fashion?
One of the Chinese fashion blogger who has come to Denmark, named Peter Xu,  said to danish news that he thinks danish design has big potential and he can imagine a future of danish design on the Chinese market.

Chanel couture SS collection 2014

It's time again for Chanel's couture collection, and it was released already four days ago.
The show started with a big white wall moving and behind the wall, stood a beautiful beautiful Cara Delevingne, wearing the first couture look of the collection.

The models were beautiful and energetic, and the "spring"-look, was really showing, with the beautiful light pastel colours, and short dresses and trousers, and of course the sneakers, which symbolised "moving" and "freedom".

Almost everything from the collection was made of broodery, and not normal fabric, which made the collection way more "couture" and beautiful.

The only shoes the models were wearing, were beautiful sneakers, which I'm personally really in love with, and I really love the fact, that the models could "move" in them, and ran down the stairs, as Karl Lagerfeld pointed out himself, in an interview after the show.

The last style was, a beautiful Cara Delevingne, dressed as a "Chanel-bride" in a long beautiful dress, were she walked down to the middle, followed by a little boy, holding her veil.

At the end the models stood with all their beautiful outfits on a balcony, and Karl Lagerfeld, the designer, stood together with Cara and the boy, presenting the collection at the bottom.

"No jellewery, no handbags, no gloves.
No earings, nothing.
This was all about attitude and silhouette , shape and cuts"

- Karl Lagerfeld

I really am personally in love with Chanel's spring/summer couture collection, and I've picked out some of my favourites of the collection:
