New In: Acne Sweater

For a long time I've been browsing the internet to get my hands on a really nice Acne sweater, unfortunately, Acne sweaters are excessively expensive, and a sweater can easily cost you around 200 pounds. So instead of just spending 200 pounds right away, I decided to look on a vintage site for acne sweaters, and especially one model (the one I ended up buying). After a few months searching the site, and following different sellers, my bid one of the sweaters was accepted. The girl who was selling the sweater was so nice, and it arrived at my door after only one day of shipping. I ended up saving around 60% or 70% from the original price.

My Trip To Crete!

As I've mentioined in a blogpost, I went on a holiday this july with my very good friend and her mother, to Crete. The holiday were from the 16th of july until the 27th. On july the 15th I packed all my stuff for the 30 degrees warm holiday and went home to my friend's house for a sleepover, since we were flying very early the following morning. We were in the airport so early that most of the expensive designer-clothes shops were closed, but there was no time for shopping anyway. We went on the plain at about 7 o'clock flying to Crete. Crete is a greek island, and as a matter of fact one of the biggest greek islands. You might think that there might would have been some economic problems on the island, since they are having some crises in Greece, but everything was fine and there were no problems what so ever. When we arrived, we arrived in a very small airport, and after checkout we grabbed a taxi and drove for about 45 minutes to the hotel we were staying at. On the ride I also got a chance to explore the island for the first time, of course only out of my taxi window. The island is very hot, and the nature is very dried out, but they grow a lot of oranges, grapes, limes, lemons, olives and lots of other fruits/vegetables, which was very funny to see, when we cannot grow oranges out in nature in my country. There are also a lot of mountains and cliffs and beautiful villages with traditional white greek houses facing the ocean. The reason some of the houses are white, is because it is a special kind of paint, which gets all the little bugs away. They also use the paint on the lime trees, instead of using chemicals, to keep the fruits organic. My friend and her mother had been at the hotel several times before, but this time we got a better and bigger room, that they had gotten the year before. The room was on the 2nd floor, had a small kitchen and living room, one bedroom and two gigant balconies, where we could look at the ocean and pool on one side, and the city on the other side. The hotel was right by the beach, so we walked down there everyday to just lay in the sun and relax.

The people that owned the hotel were really nice (all the people were actually really nice) and they had a lille beach café, where we ate our lunch whilst playing cards and talking. One of the days we also went into a town called "Chania", which is a beautiful lille town with loots of lille houses, with lille paths you could walk through. There were also a big harbor and many shops, restaurants and cafés.

We were only in Chania one day, and the other days we just relaxed by the beach all day and sometimes by the pool accept for one day were we went on a turist train. The turist train was a really cool train, that drove us all the way out of the city we were staying in (Agia Marina, it was called), and out to the countryside where we heard about how they grow fruits and vegetables and how they use it to make vine or olive oil. I also got a chance to buy some real Greek organic olive oil, to take home with me.

In the evening we went to a very cosy little restaurant where my friend and her mother knew the owner very well, because they always ate there every evening, every year. The owner and staff was very nice and the food was so delicious.

There was only one night we didn't go there, because I had a stomach ache. On the last day we had to leave our room at 12 o'clock midday, but our taxi wasn't going to pick us up before 4PM, so we just sat at the little beach café, talking together and with the staff until we got picked up. Unfortunately there was a very loud screaming baby on our plane home, but I just blocked out the sound with my headphones and some good music. We arrived at home around 10-11PM, and I already missed the trip the day after. It was a really fantastic trip, and i highly recommend taking a trip to Crete.
