New Ear Piercings

As you might saw in one of my recent blogposts, I've become a little obsessed with ear piercings. Not much time after that recent blogpost, I actually went to my local jeweler and got two new ear piercings above my old ones in each ear. Just two weeks after that, I decided to get another ear piercing at the top of my ear. It was not very painfull and I'm really glad that I got my ears pierced again. Now I'm just waiting to be able to put in some other earrings in my new piercings.

Redocorating + Walk In Closet

A new year means time for change, so now that I'm the only child left, living together at my parents house, it is time to make one of my gossip-girl dreams come true.
I'm in the process of re-doing my brothers old room, which is right next to mine, and make it into my new walk in closet and sewing/designing room.
So far I've put on a new wooden floor, and today I'm painting  which is going to light up the room.
I'm really excited for the transformation and I can't wait to show you the final result!

Here is some progress pictures (though I forgot to take some pictures of how it looked before, with the old carpet and furniture, but it wasn't very pretty anyways).

Healthy Banana Ice-cream - Recipe

As we all know, the start of a new year means crazy dieting and exercise for some people. While a lot of people already has given up on their "get healthy"- new years resolution, I'd like to show you a recipe that might help you keep on track with your resolutions. If you have a sweet tooth, but want to minimize your sugar intake, this recipe is perfect for you! It's all natural ingrediens and guilt free!

Here is what you'll need:

  • Two frozen bananas
  • 3 tablespoons raw cacaopowder
Instructions:

The day before:
Peel, and cut your two bananas into thin slices. Put the slices in a bag and put the bag in the freezer over night. You can also freeze your bananas several days before you're going to use them, I always keep a bag of sliced bananas in my freezer, just in case I want to make this recipe.

The day after:
Take your frozen banana slices out of the freezer. Boil some water. Put the frozen bananas in a food processer or a very strong blender with the cacao powder and some of the boiling water. You can add more boiling water if it is too hard to blend, but don't add to much, or else the product will become liquid.
After you have blended it for a few minutes, it should have a creamy and not liquid texture, and should look like delicious chocolate ice-cream.
