A Summerday In Copenhagen

About a year ago two of my best friends went off to the USA to become exchange students and experience the high school- and everyday life as an american teenager. They both ended up in really good and friendly families and had a really good experience. But this year went by awfully fast, and last week I went to the airport twice to greet their homecoming. I am so glad to have them back, and it feels totally normal to be together, even though we haven't seen each other physically for a year. I'm myself going to the airport the day after tomorrow, because that's when I'm going to Crete, so we decided to take a little trip to the city, since the girls who just came home, hadn't been there for a year. It was really fun, and even though we have been there a million times, we decided to walk around like tourists and see some of the famous attractions Copenhagen has got. So we walked past the "RundetÃ¥rn" which is danish for "round tower" and is a big tower made by a former king many years ago. We also went to Nyhavn, which is a very old and famous harbor with houses which are about one hundred years old, and we saw "The Little Mermaid" which is an old statue of a mermaid from the danish author H.C. Andersen's fairytale with the same name as the statue.
